An initial social audit was carried out in Namangan

Currently, 117 villages in Andijan, Fergana, and Namangan regions are implementing the Rural Infrastructure Development Project. The project’s subsidiary partner organizations (“CEED” and “Rhythm Plus”) started their first social audit activities during the second stage of the RIDP.

In MCAs “Margizor” and “Orta Margizor” of Pop district of Namangan region, qishloq facilitators Bahadir Sultanov, Nargiza Yandasheva, and Engineer Gayratjon Abidov conducted a presentation on institutional capacity building of members of the Community-Driven Development (CDD) and Community Participatory Monitoring.

During the meeting, CDD community monitoring tasks were explained, and they developed a schedule for street intersection social audits among the community.

It was also agreed that the social audit should be carried out to a high standard with thorough preparation.
